New buttons for automatically setting alignment definition preferences for either "Residential" or "Commercial" sites was added to the preferences dialog.

ASE Civil has completed and passed compatibility testing with AutoCAD, LDD and Civil 3D version 2009.

June 2008
A new menu option uses a dialog to import entities of selected Base Map Control systems.

Profile vertical curve data labels are now automaticaly placed directly below the associated dimension text label.

Grip-edited or moved vertical curve and true-length dimensions text positions are now memorized.

Extended plan labels predefined style modifications are now maintanined indefinitely.

Grade label precision will now reference the value set in the preferences dialog.

All label types on all alignments containing labels will now be updated when selecting the “Update All Alignments in Drawing” menu option.

Unneccessary command line prompts during plan label updating have been reduced.

New assemblies were added.

A new menu option was added to aid in setting a target point for 3-D navigation.

Random 3-D road model refresh failure wa repaired.

The current layer is now unconitionally restored after data export cycles.

New alignments added using the "manual" option are now set current after successful definition.

Existing alignments will no longer be stationed after a new alignment is manually defined.

Design Markers rotation has been updated to account for changes in the 2007 version of AutoCAD.

Extended plan label are now updated after surfaces are created or updated.

Surface management tools have been optimized for design data export cycles.

A new Plan Labels extension has been integrated. This new style-based system allows the user to create persistent, dynamic labels that conform to virtually any standard of appearance and may contain various combinations of ASE, LDD, Civil 3D or user data.

November 2007
Design Markers may now be selected by picking near a Marker instead of picking the Marker directly.

Flow Labels can now be configured to match generated profile grade label values exactly.

Profile label text edits may now be reverted to their original values.

Base Map Control tolerances command was added with project-based preference sharing.

Enhanced support for Pipeworks layers was added.

Profile Generator vertical scale factors now include “20”.

August 2007
New assemblies have been added to the 3-D road modeling library.

Base Map Control interpretation sensitivity is now user-adjustable.

Alignment and surface interface between ASE and Autodesk is now compatible with all versions of LDD or Civil 3D through 2008.

The user may now select any number of alignments for 3-D road model refreshing.

3-D road models now allow alignment-specific preference editing.

ASE now manages surface building and volume calculation for a total site surface definition.
